Industry Power Play is a series of events, workshops, and classes for people in the arts and entertainment.

Mission
To bring to the attention of the arts community in NYC that we can easily reach the fulfillment of our artistic aspirations by getting together. We are always waiting - waiting for the next job, waiting to get an agent, waiting for someone to take an interest in our work. We can stop playing the waiting game and create our own work by getting together. We have no idea how many opportunities pass us by when we pursue our careers, using the same “in the box” thinking that everyone else uses.

Through our events, we hope to provide professionals in the arts and entertainment with a place where they can easily and joyfully bring their gifts to the attention of other professionals in their field. By providing a place for professionals in theatre, film, music, dance, fashion, art (and everything in between) to come together, we hope to spark collaborations that produce great work.

What We Offer
Networking Events
Our networking events offer an environment designed to provide the best opportunity for attendees to bring their gifts to the attention of others. Stop waiting for that next job - be proactive and meet other like-minded artists at our events!

Film Screenings
Beginning in January, Industry Power Play will offer film screenings, which will include larger screening nights where several short films are screened, and more intimate screenings of feature length films. To submit your film for consideration, email a brief summary of your film to contact@IndustryPowerPlay.com.

Developmental Reading Series
Every month, we present a free reading of a new work-in-progress. The reading is followed by a question/answer and feedback session with the writer and cast. To submit a play or screenplay, please send a brief summary to contact@IndustryPowerPlay.com.

Information Sessions, Workshops and Classes
Each month, Industry Power Play offers information sessions, workshops and classes covering a variety of topics. Come to learn and network with the other attendees. If you think you would be a good guest-speaker, contact us.

Check out our calendar of events!
